Design Direction

We had a presentation about having a design direction ( which as Fred put it is like a 'Mood Board' except not using that frowned apon word!), I found it really useful and it made me think about my project in a new way and gave me some new ideas.

-You firstly need to establish and theme or title for your project.
-Then you need to look at specific content such as facts, figures, stattistics, quotes etc, things that back up and clarify what you are doing and why.
-Visual content is needed, images, digrams, photographys that you will use in your work or that influence and inspire what you want to be doing.
-Visual concepts, fonts, colours, textures and tones that you are going to use in your work.
-You should also consider looking at and using exsisting imagery, exsisting examples, mock ups, screen grabs, colour swatches, non digital material/formats and scanned in and photocopied work.
