Final Product Range

This is the final range of products in the Jubilee Street Party range.
I need to finalise the outer packaging that will incase the whole set, as it will be sold
as a set as well in individually.
Overall I am happy with the final outcome, I definitely think the range could be expanded
to a much larger range. But for the time scale I have been working to I am pleased with the outcome.

Packaged Products

The other products in the range which aren't packaged in the cellophane bags with the tags are held together with a red or blue paper strap which keeps them together in the set with minimal wastage which is asked for by M&S.

Final Products with Tags

These are the printed out tags, with the new changes and then the photos of them once they are with the products. Out of the range these are the products that will be packaged in this way.

Boxes

These are the boxes that the set of Jubilee Street Party range will be sold in. The whole range will be available as a set as well as being sold as individual items.
The boxes will be made out of cardboard so they can be recycled easily and produce minimal waste.

Re-Designed Tags

I tweaked my typeface so I re-designed my tags with the new typeface, I also neatened up the tags, making sure everything was lined up properly and added the new M&S logo with the blue & instead of the green.

Shop Front...Posters in Context

I have put the posters into a context by mocking up a front of a shop,
the posters would be in the windows of M&S to grab the attention of passers
by and people entering the shop.

Bag For Life

Marks and Spencer aim to produce as little waste as possible with their products and aim to be good to the environment. I have designed some bags for life that people can purchase instead of plastic bags. They will be limited addition and run for the time the Jubilee products are in the stores.

Bags

This is a range of bags that will be used when the product is purchased, and is also an advert for the product.
I have used paper bags as M & S ask that minimal waste is produced from their products so by using paper bags the waste can be recycled.

Billboards- Posters in Context.

I have put my posters onto billboards that would be out in the real word,
this is how my product would be seen and perceived.
There would also be a TV ad running along side it which I will propose
as the time contraints won't allow me to produce my own.

Advertising Posters

Initial poster designs, I wanted to keep them simple, I have used the M&S logo in the same way they do on their other
advertising campaigns. I am now going to put them into context on billboards and windows.

Logo

I have called the product range Jubilee Street Party, I have created a logo using the typeface,
this will go on all the products and advertisements.
I have also adapted the M & S Logo by changing the & sign from green to blue or red to fit in
with the colour scheme of the range.

Invitation Designs

In the set there will be blank invites for people to fill in and send
out to people. I have used my designs and typeface, I am considering using an existing typeface for the main body text if I cam find one that fits in with my designs but for now I have used my own typeface.

Re-Designed Typeface

After my crit feedback, people said my typeface needed to be refined a bit, I re-drew
it and rained it in a bit. Also when colouring it I decided to keep the black outline
it makes the typeface neater and more crisp. I am going to try it on my designs and
see how it works.

Final Crit

I brought in all my mock ups and the two boards that I have
completed so far, for the final hand in I plan to have 4 boards but
I only felt like I could complete these two for now.

This is the feedback I got from my peers. I got some good constructive
feedback, as well and what is going well within my product. It has given
me some direction for the next week, this is an action plan I have made
in response to the feedback I got,

Range so Far...

Our Final Crit is tomorrow so I gathered my products so far to
see what I have and what will still need to be done and what I
have to take into the crit with me.

Packaged Items

I have packaged some of the items to go into the street party set. I have used the typeface and images I have been using
throughout the project.
I have kept a consistent theme throughout all the packaging, just changing the name of the item each time.

Bunting

Using the designs with the bunting that I used on the the plates,
 cups and packaging etc,
I made life size bunting that can be put up as decoration when people
are having their celebrations.

Cake Toppers

Using the cake and crown designs I have made up some cake toppers which will be sold in the street party pack for people to decorate their own cupcakes for their parties.

Invite Headers

I am deciding what the put at the top of the invites that people will send out to their fellow
neighbours when they are organising their street party. I have used the Jubilee font I designed a while ago, sticking to the blue and red colour scheme.

Cake Toppers

I have mocked up some cake toppers with my designs, if they were printed for real they would be
edible sugar paper so they could be consumed with the cakes.
I am going to test out two ways of putting them onto cakes, one is to put them on cocktail sticks and push them into the cake, like below. The second is to place them on top of the icing so they are flat down.

Mock Ups

These are the first lot of printed out mock ups of some of the range of stuff that will go into the
Jubilee Street Party set.
I now need to focus on the packaging and in store promotion and bring it all together as a
range that works as one.

Cup Design

When making the sleeves to go around the cups I encountered a problem
I was making the sleeves straight rectangles and when I was placing them
around the cup the ends didn't match up.

After doing some research I realised the template for the cup sleeve
needed to be arched. I made a clipping mask based on this template above
and just like magic the sleeves fit perfectly!

Cup Designs

I have applied my designs to cups, I am going to print off some of my
designs and apply them to the cups and plates as I did with the dollies.

Plate Designs

I have applied my designs to plates that would be in the street party pack. I am going to apply it to other objects and pick a design that works best across the range.

Applying Designs

I have tried applying my designs to some of the products that will be in the street party range.
As well as mocking them up on Photoshop I thought it was important to see how they work in print.
I am going to try it with some other variations of my designs and also try some foiling on the
main outer packaging.

Bunting

I am going to have physical bunting in my street party set but I also thought I would
create a bunting pattern that could be used on packaging and decorations. I again have used the same colour palette that I have been using throughout my designs so far.
