Alphabet Soup-Design Sheets

Here are some of my initial ideas for my type face, the first sheet is looking at typefaces and styles that Luke said he liked, I then went on to start changing and minipulating typefaces to reflect his character and personality.

  1. What personality traits do you interpret from the typeface designed to represent you?

    Bold, Tall, Loud, Friendly, Talkative.

Describe what you think of the typeface?

I really am a fan of this typeface, for me personally, its bold, its serif, its condensed and its uppercase. As a typeface it really works, it is great for bold displays and using to head things up, it a modern look at an old and dated style of font. Its well designed and highly legible.

In what ways is it effective, and in what way is it ineffective of representing you?

I think the font is very 'me' its a very bold but also passive font, i dont like to stand out too much and i think this font communicates this very well, at a glance in a serif font but then at a closer look the serifs are very exaggerated and the letters are tall and condensed. I think the only aspect of it that might not work is that if you where to translate it into a lowercase font, but obviously through development it could easily be done!
