Good Is...Workshop
We were all told to write our good and put them up on the wall so we could see everyones, this is mine.
Fred then asked us a series of questions to answer about our good, it was harder than I thought it would be, these are the answers I have so far but by tomorrow I am going to try and have 5 answers for each of the questions.
We then had to pick our best answer from each questions do we had nine statements about our good, for tomorrow we have to think over all our answers and make them more focused and specific and ask ourselves why?
Concept and Rationale
I have done some further research into the Shipping Forecast and have been listening to it a lot and I have decided that I want to focus on the vocabulary used in it, therefore
The concept will be Good is the vocabulary used on the shipping forecast.
The concept will be Good is the vocabulary used on the shipping forecast.
The rationale will be designing a informational graphic for the vocabulary used within the broadcasts of the shipping forecast, this could be in the form of a poster or could turn into a publication.
What am I trying to communicate?
To make the shipping forecast more acsessible to more people, its a broadcast many people listen to but only a few understand.
What do I hope to achieve?
To inform people about the Shipping Forecast and hopefully show people who don't know about it what its about.
Audience?
People who listen to Radio 4.
How will I communicate this?
Using a series of infographics, possibly put into a publication which is easy for people to read and understand.
To keep me on track for this brief I want to organise my time to make sure I can work to my full potential, I am going to set myself mini briefs and deadlines within the brief to hopefully help me use my time well.
