These are some possible photos I could use for my double page spread of Alex for our InDesign brief, I want to use photos that I feel capture his personality and relate to what he told me when I interviewed him. I am yet unsure of how many photos I am going to use in my layout but I am sure when I start designing my layout it will become clearer.

Speaking From Experience-Crit

We had our first crit for our speaking from experience where we had to show our three presentation boards and explain our initial idea.

The feeback I got was it is a good inital idea but I need to focus it more.

I need to think about how I can make it more relevant to the graphic design course.

For example my problem of not knowing how to use the washing machine- for a graphic designer organising your clothes by the colour wheel.

From this I am going to brainstorm as many ideas as I can to find what everyday problems can be solved with graphic design and survey people to find what problems people face the most.

Type and Grid

On Tuesday we had a type and grid workshop with Lorenzo, we were looking at the differences in layout between a high end and low end magazine.

For our crit we had to produce three presentation boards showing our concept, content and method of delivery, here I have roughly planned out what I need to include on my boards.
